Quality Installation and Maintenance Procedure
Cleaning the System
(recommended for first time users with old systems)
Drain coolant from system. Flush radiator to remove grit, grime, and dirt. Re-fill with tap water adding 5% Classic Coolant Cleaner to each litre of water. 500ml per 10 litres of water.
Start engine and run (drive) for at least 1 1/2 hours during a day or longer. Drain, flush out at least twice, then fill with 50/50 ready mix.
Monthly
or more frequently check coolant level and fill with Classic Coolant 50/50 ready mix
Yearly
or at each oil change check the coolant with Test Strips to check the protection efficiency level. Simply dip the strip in the coolant for 2 seconds, wait one minute, and match the strip colour to the colour chart. Add Classic Coolant BNT Top Up as indicated by the test result
